Dr. Dinesh Sirisena is a Consultant in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He graduated form Bart’s and The London Medical School in 2004 and completed his Sports and Exercise Medicine training in 2014.
Dr Dinesh has a long history of experience working with various sport teams, including work with specialized teams such as football (AFC Wimbledon, Irish and English FA and other professional teams), rugby (Northampton Saints, Sarecens Academy, RFUW, Singapore Rugby), athletics (Diamond league events), hockey (Olympic and England) and mixed martial arts to aiding as a sports medicine doctor at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In addition to his sports and exercise medicine experience, Dr Dinesh specializes in non-invasive injury treatments including Ultrasound guided injections (lumbar spine, cervical spine, hydrodilatation, tendon stripping, PRP, prolotherapy and high-volume injections), TENEX therapy and Shockwave therapy.
During his time leading the Buckinghamshire Musculoskeletal service as the Local Medical Director, Dr Dinesh was in charge of providing a variety of ultrasound guided interventions, clinical supervision for doctors and physiotherapists and management support for service continuation/development.
Dr Dinesh previous experiences include serving as a consultant with Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust and subsequently, a consultant in Sports Medicine with Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (Singapore), where he provides specialist MSK, medical screenings, rehabilitation, and educational services to the local and international community.
Besides his clinical experiences, Dr Dinesh is also deeply involved in research & education as a highly respectable assistant professor in both NUS Yong Loo Lin and NTU lee Kong Chian school of medicine in Singapore.

Dr. Edwin Tan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from NUS in 2004 and was awarded the postgraduate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008, the Masters of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2013, and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2014. While practicing in Singapore General Hospital, he was awarded the HMDP award for a one-year fellowship program in Imperial College, London – with Professor Roger Emery, then President of the prestigious European Shoulder & Elbow Society.
His area of specialty is in Sports and Reconstructive Surgery, with a special interest in the upper limb and knee. Having done more than a thousand such surgeries, he manages conditions from the most common to the complex. The Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty, a unique surgical procedure for complex shoulder problems, is his area of expertise and he has been one of, if not the highest volume surgeon performing this surgery.
Whilst practicing in Singapore General Hospital, he was conferred the title of Adjunct Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School and was appointed to various positions in the department as well as the institution. This includes Department Quality Officer, the Singhealth Procedural Safety Workgroup and Focus Area Subcommittee in patient safety, care transition and supervision. He was also faculty for residency training and several courses including AOTrauma Advanced Principles of Fracture Management Course and Advanced Arthroscopy of the Shoulder and Knee.
With a strong interest in Sports and Reconstructive surgery, he has travelled extensively to various countries around Asia-Pacific to perform surgeries. From knee ligament reconstructions of national athletes in Papua New Guinea to joint replacement surgeries in China, he has aided patients in returning to their level of competitive sports and quality of life.
